Mission of the Month: Mexico Scholarship Fund
For more than ten years, the Mexico Scholarship Fund has supported students living in a small barrio outside of Juarez, Mexico called Lomas de Poleo. Thanks to the support they receive through the scholarship fund, these college, high school, junior high and elementary students are able to continue their educations beyond the elementary school age. Without such assistance, many Mexican youths can no longer afford school, and instead begin working low-paying jobs at a young age.

You can contribute using the Special Mission Offering envelopes in the pew, by clicking the “Give” button at www.flcva.org, or by scanning the QR code on the back of this bulletin.

We need your input!
Lent, the 40 day period in which we prepare for Holy Week and Easter, begins March 1. We are currently planning a mid-week program during Lent that will dive back into the core of Lutheran faith (and provide dinner). We want as many people to be able to participate, so we’re enlisting a bit of feedback. Please fill out this survey online to help us in our planning: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3YZTFJV

The Annual Meeting will reconvene on Sunday, February 12th after the 11:00 service.  Info sessions regarding the proposed Bylaw amendments will take place after each service on Sunday, Feb. 5th.
