Sermon (August 24, 2014): Who is Christ for You?

Christ means different things to different people. Here are three ways in which Christ has worked in the lives of others, as faith, hope and love.

Scripture readings:
Isaiah 51:1 – 6, Psalm 138, Romans 12:1 – 8, Matthew 16:13 – 20

Sermon (August 17, 2014): Love Never Gives Up

A mother argues with Jesus, convincing him to heal her daughter. In her persistent love we see an example of the kind of love needed to stand with people through all struggles, including the kind of depression Robin Williams and so many other suffer from.

Scripture readings:
Isaiah 56:1, 6 – 8; Psalm 67; Romans 11:1 – 2a, 29 – 32; Matthew 15:21 – 28

Preaching: Rev. Shannon Anderson

Scripture readings:
Genesis 37: 1–4, 12–28; Psalm 105; Romans 10:5 – 15; Matthew 14:22 – 31
