Name of Christ Sunday: Worship at 10:30 a.m.
Mission of the Month: Mexico Scholarship Fund
For more than ten years, the Mexico Scholarship Fund has supported students living in a small barrio outside of Juarez, Mexico called Lomas de Poleo. Thanks to the support they receive through the scholarship fund, these college, high school, junior high and elementary students are able to continue their educations beyond the elementary school age. Without such assistance, many Mexican youths can no longer afford school, and instead begin working low-paying jobs at a young age.
You can contribute to the Mission of the Month using the Special Mission Offering envelopes in the pew, by clicking the “Give” button at www.flcva.org, or by scanning the QR code on the back of this bulletin.
Please Note that the church office will be closed on Monday, January 2nd for the New Years holiday. After the holidays, regular office hours will resume.
First Friday Family Potluck
Our potluck for the month of January will be on Friday, January 6 at 5:30 p.m. Prayers and kids’ activities will center around the theme of Epiphany. Whether you’re a family of 1, 2, or 7, all are welcome! Sign up here.

XYZ Lunch at Pistone’s
On Tuesday, January 10th we will go to Pistone’s Italian Inn at Seven Corners. Van leaves at 11:30 a.m.
