Stewardship - Faith Lutheran Church

“Stewardship” is the word we use in the church to describe the many ways we offer our various gifts in service to God and the church. Click on the tabs below to learn more about giving your treasure, talents and time.

Your generous financial contributions help us live out our mission of making Christ known to those in our neighborhood, in our country and across the globe.

In addition to traditional methods of giving, we are pleased to also offer a variety of secure online giving options:

Debit and credit card giving, sponsored by Faith Lutheran Church and administered by Vanco, allows you to make secure payments with your debit or credit card.
Simply Giving, a program sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and administered by Vanco, allows you to securely transfer money to Faith Lutheran Church from your checking or savings account on a one-time or recurring basis.

If you prefer offline giving, you can still participate in Simply Giving! Contact the church office to request an enrollment form. Of course, you can still place your offerings in the plate on Sundays, or mail them directly to Faith.

Spiritual Gifts

Lutherans believe that the Holy Spirit activates gifts in each one of us, and that when we all bring our gifts together God is glorified and amazing mission and ministry is possible.

What spiritual gifts do you see in yourself, or have others seen in you? Maybe you’re very organized, or have a great sense of humor! Whatever your spiritual gifts, there’s a place for them here at Faith.

Gift of Time

Each month, members and friends of the congregation support Faith with their contributions of time and talent. It is fulfilling to those who give of themselves and important for those who receive.

If you have time to give, consider sharing with your family and friends at Faith. We are always looking for people who can:

Greet those who come to worship.
Usher during worship (distribute the worship booklets and collect the offering during the service).
Assist with communion during worship.
Read scripture, assist the pastors, or light candles during worship.
Prepare the slideshow for contemporary worship.
Help with the sound system.
Help with counting the offering after the 11 a.m. worship service.
