Miriam is a Masters of Divinity student at Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. A native of Minnesota, Miriam attended Augustana University in South Dakota where she focused on Psychology and Spanish.
After graduating, she spent a summer interning at a church in Washington State followed by a year working with the Lutheran Volunteer Corp in Nebraska, where she worked as a spiritual care director in a senior living facility. During this time of service and growth she heard her calling to join the seminary.
When she’s not busy studying, Miriam enjoys reading, gardening, running and exploring nature. She is interested in sustainability and how it relates to our faith, as well as social justice ministry.
