In John’s gospel, Jesus’ ministry begins with a simple call of disciples- “Follow me.” We are invited to do the same, following Jesus day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment trusting we do now do this work alone.
This week we return to our roots: the roots of creation. As we hear the story of Genesis 2, we watch God create a profound, beautifully “good” creation. But after creation comes the fall, leaving us with this tension: we are like God in many ways, and we are profoundly not like God in our creatureliness and finitude. Listen as Bishop Leila Ortiz explores the ways we are called to trust in God’s love in the face of the temptations and challenges in our lives today.
